About

Corey has over two decades of financial services experience in asset management and capital markets working for large financial institutions in Europe, North America, and Australia.  Previously he was the European Chief Administrative Officer at RBC Global Asset Management where he was responsible for operations and risk.  He has also held senior client relationship roles managing a portfolio of European central banks, commercial banks, and investment firms. 

Having managed his own financial affairs and assisting many others, Corey believes that effective financial planning can only succeed after understanding the client's aspirations and concerns. To understand client motivations first and foremost, a relationship needs to be established that is built on trust, and tailoring advice that focuses on the person rather than the product.

As an industry, Corey feels that financial services have not met the high expectations that the public expects, given the role it plays in society. In an aim to improve facets of the sector, Corey has been a long-serving volunteer industry leader promoting ethical conduct. Currently, he is a volunteer advisor with the UK Pensions Ombudsman where he helps the public resolve pension disputes. Corey was the Co-Chair of the CFA Standards of Practice Council which establishes professional conduct standards for the 190,000 CFA Charterholders and members globally. Outside of financial services, he is a Trustee for Goodenough College, where he is a member of the audit and risk committee, a Director of the College’s commercial trading subsidiary, and a Director of his wife’s kitchen design and supply business in North London.  Corey has a BA (Economics) from McGill University in Canada, an MSc. (Management) from The London School of Economics, and has been a CFA Charterholder since 2001. He lives in Barnet, North London with his wife and two children. In his spare time, Corey enjoys long-distance motorcycle travel, gardening, golf, and clay-target shooting.
